LOGISTICS COMPONENT
Under the guidance of Sarah Albea, the Assistant Coordinator of Logistics, the logistics component organizes finance, public relation, and aesthetic design work for the show. This component is also responsible for organizing SPCN class, where students learn about the history and politics of SPCN in exchange for 2 units.
Meet the Coordinators
ASSISTANT COORDINATORÂ OF LOGISTICS
The Assistant Coordinator of Logistics oversees the Financial, Cultural, Public Relations, and Aesthetics Coordinators. Her component deals with the funding, promoting, and educational part of bringing our show together. SARAH ALBEA
Assistant Coordinator of Logistics
"From being an audience member watching my brother perform to eventually performing on that very stage the following year, SPCN will always hold a special place in my heart. I joined Committee the past two years because I absolutely fell in love with the space, and I wanted to be able to foster that same family experience for all others joining our cast."
FINANCIAL COORDINATORS
FRANCES VANO
"I joined SPCN as a tribute to my parents and their sacrifices. What I gained from SPCN was a new family and a deeper appreciation of our culture. I can proudly say that joining SPCN and committee was one of my best decisions at UCLA."
PUBLIC RELATIONS & AESTHETICS COORDINATORS
JAYMIE BERNARDO
Aesthetics Coordinator
"I joined committee because I wanted to contribute more to the wholeness of SPCN aside from just being a cast member. I don’t have a favorite memory of SPCN, but my favorite part of the entire experience has definitely been meeting & befriending such amazing people!"
RAYLENE FACTORA
Public Relations Coordinator
"One of my favorite SPCN memories was performing at Royce in SPCN 42, as the whole experience encouraged me to reflect on and learn more about my Filipino-American identity. Joining committee gave me the opportunity to help bring together a beautiful and loving community with a powerful purpose."
CULTURAL COORDINATORS
AUBREY MAMAID
External Cultural Coordinator
"Every “a-ha!” moment in the SPCN Class makes me hopeful that SPCN longs to serve a bigger mission: to give back to our community and to the motherland. SPCN has been my home away from home and I will always be thankful that I get to partake in it."
