WHAT IS SPCN?

Samahang Pilipino Cultural Night is an annual cultural production at UCLA, assembled by a committee of student leaders. Every year, our production encompasses the performance of multiple Philippine traditional dances, original music, and an original script. We welcome all members of the UCLA community to perform on stage with us, and we are proud to provide a safe space to all who call SPCN home.

WHAT'S A DANCE SUITE?

Our dance coordinators choreograph and teach various Philippine traditional dances under the guidance of the assistant coordinators of dance, Frenz Cabison and Kathy Valencerina. The dances we perform are grouped into suites, according to which region of the Philippines they come from. Most of our cast members involve themselves in SPCN through dance.
